Normally, the days leading up to a wedding are an exciting, happy time. Unfortunately, for Meghan Markle, this isn’t the case. And with just three days left to the royal wedding, Markle’s father and half-sister are at the center of a messy family drama.

Earlier this week, reports surfaced that Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, had staged photoshoots with paparazzi. This came as a shock to Kensington Palace, where Meghan has been residing with her soon-to-be husband, Prince Harry.

That’s because Kensington Palace specifically requested that paparazzi respect Thomas Markle’s privacy.

Perhaps what made this paparazzi stint even worse is that Meghan’s half-sister, Samantha Markle had convinced her father to do it in the first place.

She said in an interview, “It was my suggestion that to benefit him and to benefit the royal family that everyone looked good and they depict you as you are – in shape and doing healthy things.”

However, after the paparazzi news broke, Thomas said he would no longer attend the wedding so as not to embarrassed Meghan and the royal family. Yesterday, he said he would come. And now, due to heart surgery, he will not be able to make it.

Now, along with Meghan’s back-and-forth father, it seems that her half-sister continues to take the spotlight, defending both her and her father’s actions. But by placing herself so prominently in the spotlight, the media is discovering a bit more about Meghan’s half-sister, Samantha.

For example, Samantha just recently switched her last name from Grant back to Markle. And leading up to the scandal, Samantha, who has been a long-time blond, dyed her hair black to better resemble her half-sister and soon-to-be-princess, Meghan.

Finally, in an interview with Britain’s, Piers Morgan, who called Samantha a “vulture”, we learn that Samantha is planning to publish a book entitled, “The Diary of Princess Pushy Sister”.
