Among the many masks, Golden Sun Mask stands out. It draws inspiration from both Persian and Ayurvedic traditions using three simple foods. Shiva stresses the importance of seeking out high quality ingredients that you would want to eat.

The magic ingredient, saffron, can help to even out skin tones, reduce dullness and even calm acne.

For her Golden Sun Mask, here’s what you need:

  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt (goat milk or sheep milk yogurt is best)
  • 3 tablespoons of raw honey
  • 1 tablespoon of saffron threads

In a clean bowl, combine all three ingredients and stir gently until the mixture has a pale, golden color. After cleaning your face, apply the mask using either a clean brush or your finger tips. After leaving the mask on for 15 to 20 minutes, rinse with lukewarm water and take a look at your glowing skin.
