By the end of the week, you might feel pretty tired and fatigued. And that’s no way to kick off the weekend, now is it? So, to help you feel more energized and restored, consider doing these five yoga poses throughout the weekend. They’re like a breath of fresh air.
Happy Baby pose or Ananda Balasana
What better way to start that with a pose called “Happy Baby”. It helps to calm the brain and offers relief for stressful days and fatigue.
Upward Salute or Urdhva Hastasana
Don’t be deceived by this simple pose. Stand with feet together and arms at your side. With a big inhale, reach your arms up overhead and until fingers touch. It’s an easy way to kiss fatigue goodbye.
Upward Facing Dog or Urdhva Much Svanasana
You can do this pose alone or as part of a Sun Salutation. Just be sure to keep good form throughout so that you get optimal relief without causing pack pain.
If Upward Facing Dog is too intense for you, try this milder backbend instead. Who doing this pose, focus on resting your mind and eyes to help relieve stress.
Camel pose or Ustrasana
This is a more challenging pose, so it’s important to maintain good form and never push yourself into a place of pain or discomfort when doing it. However, this camel pose does wonders when it comes to fatigue and anxiety.
