For better or worse, we’re all creatures of habit. That goes for everything from our morning coffee to our Monday-through-Friday work uniform. And sometimes our routine lands us in an uninspiring style rut. So, if you’re starting to feel dull and bored with your clothes, these three fun tips can pull you out.

Instagram is a style haven. There, fashion savvy ladies post their OOTD’s (Outfit Of The Day), OOTNs (Outfit Of The Night) and current fashion faves. In short, once you start scrolling, you’ll start to find lots of outfit inspiration. 

But don’t just scroll. When you find anything that strikes your fancy, take full advantage of the save function and keep your favorites in your very own bookmarked page. 

After a while, you’ll start to notice patterns: your favorite colors, the trends you’re into, the shoes you’re obsessing over, etc. 

Get style ideas from Pinterest

With Instagram, you get to know your style inspiration. But it doesn’t do you much good to just look at pictures, now does it? So, once you’ve identified your style faves, go to Pinterest.

Here, you can see how other women actually wear and style your favorites. This can help you take all of your style dreams and make them come true with your own outfits. 

Look at your wardrobe with new eyes

When you know what you want to wear (Instagram’s got your back), and how you can style it (Thanks, Pinterest!), it’s time to return to your “boring’ closet and see if you actually have your Instagram favorites. 

If so, can you style them in a new way? If you don’t have these pieces, consider downsizing your wardrobe by donating or selling unwanted pieces and trading them in for your current style faves.

For most people, summer is prime vacation time, but no matter when you choose to go on vacation, one thing is certain: vacation is always a time to break away from your stressful life and enjoy some rest and relaxation.
