We often hear that high cholesterol causes heart disease, so we naturally try to lower cholesterol. Unfortunately, most low cholesterol diets aren’t always very appealing.   2. Nuts, including almonds and walnuts
  3. Chia seeds and flaxseeds
  4. Olive oil
  5. Avocados
  6. Fatty fish, like salmon
  7. Gluten-free grains, including quinoa, buckwheat and amaranth
  8. Green tea
  9. Beans, including black beans, chickpeas, kidney beans and mung beans
