When the terrorist attacks struck the World Trade Center in New York City, hundreds of ordinary men and women came to the rescue. Thomas Phelan was one of them. And he, like so many others, became a hero that day. Now, 17 years later, Phelan has died of cancer.
Over the weekend, Beyoncé and her daughter, Blue Ivy, attended the 2nd Wearable Art Gala, put on by Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles. The gala’s theme was “Waco to Wakanda”, which movie goers will immediately recognize as the mythic kingdom in the blockbuster hit, Black Panther. And it should come as no surprise that Beyoncé attended the gala in amazing style. And Blue Ivy didn’t disappoint either.
